Brussels Kick-off Meeting

The Action’s constitutive meeting was overshadowed by the terror attacks of March 22nd, 2016. With the airport still closed, only about two thirds of the countries that had already signed the memorandum of understanding were represented at the meeting. Those network members who could make it to Brussels mainly took care of administrative duties to get the Action underway such as setting up its organizational structure and deciding on the budget for year 1. In the afternoon, however, the participants also discussed the Action’s research agenda.
