Anthony Lantian
Anthony Lantian is an Associate Professor at the UFR Sciences Psychologiques et Sciences de l’Éducation (SPSE) at the Université Paris Nanterre. His research interests lie in the origins, functional roles, and social consequences of beliefs that people hold about the world. More specifically, his research focuses on belief in conspiracy theories as well as beliefs in free will and determinism. Furthermore, another area of his research is about social exclusion/ostracism from an intergroup perspective, focusing on the psychological consequences for people excluded, as well as causal explanations made by observers (not involved) to explain an ambiguous situation of social exclusion.
