Ivan Brlić
Ivan Brlić is a senior research assistant at the Ivo Pilar Institute of Social Sciences Regional Centre in Gospić, Croatia. He studied history and informatics at the University of Rijeka in 2007 and earned his doctoral degree in history (his doctoral thesis was titled “Civil Organizations in Lika Region from 1860 until 1940”). During the winter semester of the 2009/2010 academic year, he received a scientific research scholarship at the University Karl-Franz in Graz. His current research interests focus on the history of Lika in the modern era, environmental history, and conspiracy theories in Croatia, and life and work of the scientist Nikola Tesla. He has published several articles and book chapters.
