Nico Pytlik
Nico Pytlik is currently a PhD candidate in clinical psychology. He holds a master’s degree in psychology from the Philipps-University Marburg. Previously, his research focused on uncovering the mechanisms underlying conspiracy theory, particularly cognitive bias and information processing. Presently, he is setting his sights on understanding the genesis of schizophrenia in order to elucidate potential parallels between paranoia and conspiracy tendencies. He is also interested in investigating information processing dispositions that are involved in believing in conspiracy theories as well as the preference for populist parties and policy.
