Theofilos Gkinopoulos
Theofilos Gkinopoulos is a researcher at the University of Surrey. He has completed his Ph.D. in Social Psychology at the University of Surrey. He has also received a B.Sc. in Psychology from the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences in Athens. For his Ph.D., he looked at identity entrepreneurship process in mainstream and minority parties in political commemoration. The domains of interest that he focuses on include the research of social identity and categorisation processes in political leadership contexts, the role of remembering history in political trust and political engagement, the role of future imagination in political decision making, and the interpersonal and intergroup underpinnings of nostalgia and victimhood.
